Cheese Making Course(3 days)
Event Details:
Introduction to Cheese Making
This is the first of a series of workshops dedicated to the arts of cheese making.
Rocio, a master cheese maker from Granada, will be visiting the Mumonkan Centre to teach us the aer of cheese making. Using local milk we will make cheese and yoghurt during this introductory weekend.
The course will be as follows:
Friday: Arrival at the centre, snack and then sleep.
Saturday: 10:00-12:00 Introduction to the theory of cheese making.
12:00 Lunch.
12:30-16:00 Demonstration of cheese making and yoghurt making.
16:00 Food and afternoon off (walking, playing music, visit the village...).
Sunday: 10:00 Participants turn to make there own cheese and cottage cheese with all that was learnt previously.
15:00 Lunch and end of course.
We will share out all that was made during the course so all can take something home.
